The Venezuelan poodle moth is a possible new species of moth discovered in 2009 by Dr. Arthur Anker of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in the Gran Sabana region of Venezuela. It bears similarities to the muslin moth , but most likely belongs to the lepidopteran genus Artace . The Venezuelan poodle moth, or fluffy moth poodle, is in fact something fantastic, strange and charming, because the butterfly simultaneously delights and puzzles - what is it? A small creature with black eyes bulging and mustache-brows, besides, "dressed" in a fluffy fur coat of a snow-white poodle - hence the name of this cute and mysterious creature.
